President, Chief Executive Officer and Treasurer of ADES. Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer, served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company. A Director and the Treasurer of ADA-ES, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, a Manager on the Board of Managers of Tinuum Group, LLC. and a Manager and Officer of other ADES subsidiaries.
Previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Square Two Financial, a private equity backed mid-market specialty finance company, where he led the corporate restructuring. Served as Chief Financial Officer of First Data Financial Services, a business unit of First Data Corporation, a large-market global SEC registrant, where he led strategy development, finance and accounting for the $2.5 billion business unit. Also at First Data Corporation, he led various other strategic, operational, financial and compliance initiatives within the U.S. and across the globe. He started his career at Arthur Andersen, LLC., where he served within the audit advisory group and finished as a Senior Manager within the business and risk consulting group.
Received a Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Denver.
Chris leads the organization’s Risk, Process and Controls department. With more than 30 years of business and consulting experience across corporate governance, risk management, finance, internal audit, compliance, operations, information technology and program management.
Prior to joining Advanced Emissions Solutions, Chris served in several senior management positions at Experis, formally Jefferson Wells (a Manpower Company), including Director Risk Advisory Services and Director Technology Risk Management. Chris has also held executive positions at Prudential Home Mortgage and at Perpetual Savings Bank.
Chris is a Certified Public Accountant and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Political Science degree from University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the AICPA, Colorado Society of CPAs, and Institute of Internal Auditors.
Ron is Senior Vice President, Operations, leading teams of Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, Procurement and Material Logistics to deliver ADA-ES’s wide range of advanced solutions for the coal fired power industry.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry including previous roles at ADA – Manager of Projects and Project Engineering Manager – where he designed and built a patented dense phase carbon injection system for mercury control in a baghouse/dry scrubber system for coal fired power plants.
Previously, Ron held engineering and management roles at Dynamic Air in St. Paul, Mn., which specializes in pneumatic delivery of dry bulk solids for the processing industries. Ron managed simultaneous multi-million dollar projects for customers around the world, including North America, Central America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Ron earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University.
Greg joined ADES in 2015 as the Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting and was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer in 2016. Greg has over 11 years’ of experience related to accounting, SEC reporting and other matters and leadership of various teams.
Prior to joining ADES, Greg was a Senior Manager in the assurance practice at Ernst & Young, LLP in both Dallas and Denver, where he served a variety of public and private clients.
Greg earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and his master’s degree in Finance from Texas A&M University. Greg has a CPA license in Texas and Colorado.
Since joining ADA-ES in 2012, Ted has served in various roles including intellectual property counsel and corporate counsel, and currently leads the company’s legal and human resources departments. Ted provides counsel on a wide range of corporate legal matters, and helped develop the company’s intellectual property portfolio from 14 to almost 40 domestic and international patents.
Prior to joining ADA-ES, Ted was in private practice focusing on corporate and litigation matters. In law school, Ted was an extern for the chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, assisting with the judge’s patent litigation docket, and worked for a patent firm in southern California. Prior to law school, Ted was an R&D engineer for the Ford Motor Company and the Hyundai-Kia America Technical Center, focusing on noise and vibration mitigation.
Ted earned his JD with a concentration in intellectual property from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was a comments editor for the San Diego Law Review and a member of the national appellate moot court team. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree with a minor in economics from Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Senior is Vice President of Technology, responsible for estimating the performance of ADA’s products and services at unique plant conditions, supporting customers with successful product optimizations, and research and development to improve control of emissions of mercury and other pollutants from coal-fired power plants and other industrial combustion systems.
Dr. Senior is an internationally recognized expert on mercury control from coal-fired boilers. She serves on EPA’s Board of Scientific Counselors. She has worked on understanding and predicting the behavior of mercury and other hazardous air pollutants for over fifteen years and has more than ten years’ experience with demonstrations of full-scale mercury emissions control.
She has more than twenty-five years of experience in the behavior of ash, glasses, and ceramics in high-temperature systems. Dr. Senior holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and a PhD in Environmental Engineering Science from California Institute of Technology.
Audra is serving as Chief of Staff to Heath Sampson, President and CEO, leading a cross functional team and managing corporate PMO and large scale initiatives for the company to support strategically critical activities.
Audra has been a successful consultant at Shine Solutions Consulting and previously had positions at Qwest Communications (now CenturyLink), EchoStar Communications Corporation (now Dish Network), Software Spectrum and Rapp Collins Worldwide.
Audra earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Human Resources from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Masters of Business degree from University of Colorado, Denver.
She also earned a Prosci Change Management Certification and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification from the Society for Human Resources.
Sharon is the Chief Product Officer at Advanced Emissions Solutions, Inc. where she is responsible for leading strategic product and business development for the corporation through its subsidiary ADA-ES, Inc.
An internationally-recognized expert in mercury control, Sharon has over 25 years of experience developing technologies and commercializing products that reduce emissions from coal-fired power generation. She has published more than fifty technical papers and is an inventor on sixteen patents.
Sharon is currently serving as a member of the National Coal Council at the request of the Secretary of Energy, she has served on the Coal Utilization Research Council, and is on the Board of Directors for Institute of Clear Air Companies.
Sharon earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business. She is also a Certified Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado.
Scott is a 25-year veteran of the power generation, coal, and pollution control industries. As Vice President of Sales, Scott directs the company’s efforts to position and expand innovative power utility product offerings for environmental regulatory compliance.
Previously, Scott was Vice President of Business Development at Novinda Corporation, National Sales Manager at Sanitherm USA, and has held management positions at Evergreen Energy, Inc., RS Technologies, George Fischer Sloane, and Fibercast.
Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and master’s degree of Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
